The firm represented a man who became paralyzed as a result of a misdiagnosed and mistreated spinal mass. The spinal mass went unnoticed by doctors for some time, and once discovered, they failed to discuss with the plaintiff any possible alternative treatments, as well as the possible attendant risks to the treatment he was undergoing. As a result, the man's condition ultimately resulted in paraplegia. The plaintiff received a favorable settlement for injuries incurred, including pain, diminished life expectancy and loss of earning capacity. There was also a settlement on behalf of his wife for loss of consortium.
